It's winter time again in certain parts of the world, and I'm sure that the conversion of most cold natured people like me is how to stay warm......

Whether you want to opt for high-end or high street, or desire to keep your budget on the lower end,

we have the inside scoop on winter basics that you need in your closet right now........

FOR MOM

1). OVERSIZED KNIT

Having an oversized knit is definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to WINTER BASICS!

Knits are a classic and are very simple to style. I love wearing my white, oversized knit from RIVERISLAND, during this time of the year. Whether I'm indoors laying on the couch or running errands around town, having my oversized knits gives me an easy and quick way to style my outfits.............

2). LEATHER JACKET

A leather jacket is another staple piece that you should consider having in your wardrobe. Leather jackets are also classics that will never go out of style. So should you choose to invest in a great leather jacket, you will be able to wear it until the world ends.....bad joke! I got my leather jacket from RUE 21.

3). BOOTS

This one is a no brainer especially if you live in the colder regions of the world. I consider boots to be one of the greatest inventions of all time. Seriously, I am not fond of having cold feet in the winter time, let alone cold legs, so that should tell you how many pairs of boots I own for that very reason, Lol! There are so many styles of boots to choose from, that your chances of successfully finding your perfect pair are through the roof. My go to shoe stores online, are JUSTFAB and SHOEDAZZLE, where I actually got my gunmetal, sock booties..........

FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE

1). WINTER COAT

I'm sure that every parent with a toddler can relate when I that kids like to keep things simple and layering their clothes in the winter time is somewhat of a challenge. My little girl hates having to wear both a sweater and a jacket over her shirt. With her, it's always pick one or the other. That is why buying her a winter coat was the best option. That way she doesn't have to worry about over-layering, and I don't have to worry about her getting cold. I found her plush, winter coat on ALIEXPRESS, for the reasonable price of $16..........

2). MITTENS AND GLOVES

With the cold temperatures, your little ones limbs are sure to freeze up. So to help avoid that, buying gloves or mittens is the best way of keeping their little hands warm. You can find mittens and gloves almost anywhere during the winter and they are usually inexpensive. I got these basics at good ole WALMART for $0.97 for a set of three.

3). WARM FOOTWEAR

Having warm footwear in your little one's closet in the winter months is very essential. My little girl is very active, so I am particularly picky about the design and the fabric of her footwear because I don't just want her to be comfortable in her shoes, but I want them to last her a while. I know that children's footwear can get pricy, but I have great news! I buy most of my little's ones footwear from ALIEXPRESS. Their children's shoes are of great quality and only cost a fraction of what you would pay for at GAPKIDS.......................
