If you think about Julia Roberts in 'PRETTY WOMAN', I'm pretty sure that the first thing that comes to mind is the classic Hollywood style of the character that she played, or is it? Well, at least for me it is. I remember the first time I watched the movie--I was on holiday at my mom's sister's home, and her daughter put her favorite movie in the VCR and it took us on a magical, fashion, fantasy adventure that only a girl could dream of . I had never seen such class, such beauty, such glam in my entire life. Forget about her love story with Richard Gere, the only thing that captivated my attention were the old Hollywood outfits, the jewels and "THAT RED DRESS!"
So to commemorate the Hollywood classic, I decided to re-create one of my favorite looks and give it a slight modern twist...........

I went thrifting over the weekend in hopes of finding the perfect Easter Sunday outfit. To begin with, I found the coolest Louis Vuitton dupe handbag at my local thrift store for only five dollars. The bag is in pristine condition and almost looks like the real thing, and I've already received quite a few compliments about it.
By using the bag as a statement piece, I was able to look for pieces that would compliment it like the bright orange skirt, which I scored for 3 bucks at another local thrift store, and the 90s inspired wicker hat which I also scored for $3 at the thrift store. Yes, I thrift a lot.. It's my thing..
When I got home, I went on an exploration adventure in my closet and found this polka dot sweater by Liz Claiborne which I also thrifted months ago. It tied everything together and gave the entire outfit a 'PRETTY WOMAN' vibe which I absolutely love....

To complete this look, I decided to pair it with my pointed toe heels which I got on sale from Cato and I also wore simple jewelry which I purchased on aliexpress.com, and that is pretty much it.....
I will admit that although this ensemble looks like something that Julia Roberts would have worn on set in the production of 'PRETTY WOMAN' , it definitely did come into being spontaneously.....
But, I am glad that it came out the way that it did, and I absolutely had so much fun putting it together.....
With that being said, that's all that I had to share with you awesome people today. I hope that you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
I would love to get your feedback on what you think about the ensemble and please feel free to share some of your favorite 'PRETTY WOMAN' looks by commenting down below.
MUCH LOVE XOXO.........
